Neighborhood Garage Door Repair LLC – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you (“Customer”) and Neighborhood Garage Door Repair LLC (“Neighborhood Garage Door Repair,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By visiting our website, scheduling or receiving services, or otherwise engaging with Neighborhood Garage Door Repair, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting, scheduling, or receiving services from Neighborhood Garage Door Repair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. - Installation, repair, and maintenance
- Opener installation and repair
- Spring and cable replacement
- 24/7 emergency response
- Safety inspections and diagnostics
- Hardware replacement and preventive maintenance
We do not provide structural building modifications, foundation work, electrical services beyond direct opener connections, unrelated home repairs, or services requiring permits not obtained by the Customer.
3. Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are free and typically valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Final pricing may vary based on site conditions and parts required.
- Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise approved in writing.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, credit card, and approved financing. Diagnostic visits, emergency services, and travel outside standard service areas may incur additional fees. Financing, if available, is offered through third-party providers and is subject to their terms and approvals.
4. Payments, Chargebacks, and Collections
By providing payment information, you authorize Neighborhood Garage Door Repair to charge for services, materials, and fees.
Initiating a credit card chargeback or reversing a payment without providing written notice and allowing a reasonable opportunity for resolution constitutes a breach of these Terms. Improper chargebacks may result in liability for the balance due, bank fees, collection costs, attorney’s fees, and applicable interest.
All billing disputes must follow the Dispute Resolution provisions outlined below.
5. Contractors and Subcontractors
We may use independent contractors or subcontractors for certain services. These contractors maintain their own insurance and, where required, valid state or local licenses.
Neighborhood Garage Door Repair coordinates services but is not liable for the actions, errors, or omissions of independent contractors. Customers agree to hold us harmless from any claims arising from subcontractor performance.
6. Permits and Compliance
Customers are responsible for obtaining all required permits, approvals, and inspections unless otherwise agreed in writing. We are not liable for delays, fines, or costs resulting from failure to obtain required permits.
7. Warranties
Standard Warranty
We provide a one-year labor warranty covering workmanship issues directly related to our services. This warranty covers re-performance of services only and does not include refunds.
Manufacturer Warranties
Products, parts, and hardware are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Claims for defective parts must be submitted directly to the manufacturer. We may assist with documentation upon request.
Warranty Stickers
We place service stickers to record model numbers and service dates. Tampering with or removing these stickers voids all Neighborhood Garage Door Repair warranties.
Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, neglect, or environmental damage
- Work performed by third parties
- Products not installed by Neighborhood Garage Door Repair
All warranty disputes are subject to the Dispute Resolution provisions in these Terms.
8. Safety and Liability
Garage doors are heavy and dangerous. Only trained professionals should perform repairs.
Our liability is limited to the total cost of services rendered or $1,000, whichever is less. We are not responsible for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or reduced property value.
Customers are responsible for disclosing hazards and ensuring a safe work environment.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Same-day cancellations may incur a fee.
- Missed appointments may result in a no-show fee.
- Weather-related rescheduling will not incur penalties.
10. Emergency Services
Emergency services are available 24/7. Additional surcharges apply for after-hours services. Payment is due at the time of service.
11. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Brands
All website content, logos, branding, and materials are the property of Neighborhood Garage Door Repair LLC unless otherwise noted. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
We may reference brands like Genie, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Clopay, and Amarr. These trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Neighborhood Garage Door Repair is not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers.
12. Coupons, Discounts, and Special Offers
- Coupons and discounts cannot be combined.
- Discounts must be disclosed before services are rendered and cannot be applied retroactively.
- Restrictions may apply for oversized or custom parts.
- Military and senior discounts are available with valid proof.
We reserve the right to refuse or limit discounts when eligibility requirements are not met.
13. Privacy, Communications, and Data Protection
We collect information such as names, phone numbers, emails, and payment details solely for service and payment purposes. Your information will never be sold or rented.
SMS and Mobile Privacy

These Terms are governed by Texas law, with exclusive venue in Collin County, Texas.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions.
20. Severability
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain enforceable.
21. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms represent the entire agreement between Neighborhood Garage Door Repair LLC and the Customer, superseding any prior agreements or representations.
